The elections watchdog is looking into whether Conservative Party donations were used to fund part of the renovation of Boris Johnson’s Downing Street flatThe Canadian Press here..

The Electoral Commission said it is trying to figure out whether any of the funds relating to the renovation should have been declared under the law on party political donationsd been in talks with Ontario Premier Doug Ford..

Responding to its disclosure, the Conservative Party said all reportable donations were correctly declared in compliance with the law.
